Who we are

Barbara Dreaver

Board Member

Barbara has 34 years' experience in the journalism sector, she has worked in radio, print, and TV and is currently working for TVNZ news and current affairs as the Pacific Correspondent.

She was awarded the New Zealand Reporter of the Year at the 2022 TV Awards. Her contributions were further recognised when she was named an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit in the 2024 New Years Honours List for Investigative Journalism and Services to Pacific Communities.

Barbara is striving to generate interest and greater resourcing for Pasifika girls and women in football, by using her strengths to develop strong messages across social media and publication.

Barbara joined the Foundation in January 2025.

Bequests can be gifts of personal property, money, stock, bonds or valuables which are directed to the Foundation by the provisions in your will. Endowments benefit football by making the Foundation a beneficiary of your endownment fund.
