Evelyn joined the Football Foundation as a Project Coordinator in August 2024, after relocating to New Zealand from the UK for a 12-month internship.
Currently pursuing a BSc in Sports and Exercise Science at Loughborough University, Evelyn has a strong interest in biochemistry, nutrition, and human physiology.
Evelyn’s love for football started early, progressing from grassroots teams and school competitions to playing in the competitive BUCS University leagues at Loughborough.
Throughout her internship, she looks forward to expanding her understanding of football in New Zealand and contributing to greater equity in the women's game while tackling issues like on-field abuse.
Her role will focus on managing grant applications and conducting analysis, alongside creating content for the Foundations projects. She will also support New Zealand Football with event delivery.
Every team needs supporters. At the New Zealand Football Foundation we are so grateful for our partners who believe in Football For Good just as much as we do. They know the power of sport to make real change in society and they are committed to helping us do the māhi to support our communities. The generosity of our partners is crucial to enable us to support so many worthy projects.
